Hello,
My trusty old HP Laserjet 6L has started to feed several sheets at a time
when printing. This only happens when the paper tray is less than half full.
Is this a commom problem, and is it time to replace the machine or is there
a tweak or fix?
Many thanks in anticipation,
Christina

The pick up roller and separation pads need to be replaced.
The parts are not expensive but it needs someone who is experienced at printer
repairs or who is mechanically skilled to do the job.
This is a task that will take about 45 minutes to complete. I would have it
fixed if it were my printer, it is a common wear problem with all laser
printers.
